Anesthesiology

Riley is the home of the largest group of pediatric anesthesiologists in Indiana and the only group of anesthesiologists in the state who serve only pediatric patients. The physicians, all of whom have advanced training in pediatric anesthesiology, provide services in many areas of Riley, including operating rooms, ICUs, MRI suites, cardiac catheterization labs and X-ray/CT scan areas.

Pain Management

Pediatric anesthesiologists at Riley also have a special emphasis on pain management. Physicians are dedicated solely to treating children with acute and chronic pain resulting from illnesses such as juvenile arthritis and cancer as well as traumatic injuries.

Additional Services

Care is also provided at Indiana University Hospital when young patients need procedures such as Gamma Knife treatments, radiation oncology treatments and other special services.
