Adolescent Drug and Alchohol Abuse Prevention Fact Sheets

One of the most important steps in preventing adolescent drug and alcohol abuse is to become educated about this topic and about various kinds of drugs. The links to the left will take you to several one-page fact sheets about some of today's most commonly abused drugs. You are welcome to print, copy, and distribute these fact sheets as part of your prevention efforts.

Special Note: If you are a parent and suspect that your teen may be using drugs, you should talk to him or her about it. If problems persist and drug abuse is confirmed, seek help from your child's physician. Teachers or community leaders who witness warning signs of drug abuse may also want to talk with the teen and/or the teen's parents.
