School

School is a very large part of your child's life. For this reason, Riley Children's Hospital has a teacher on staff to assist your child with educational needs. School is offered on Monday through Friday throughout the school year for students in Kindergarten through the twelfth grade. The teacher provides services in small groups or on an individual basis according to the child's assessed needs.

The Riley school teacher will be happy to contact your child's school to coordinate assignments and report the days that the child attended school while hospitalized. If your child requires Homebound services upon returning home, the teacher will assist in those arrangements. If we can help in any way please contact the school office at (317) 274-1147.
